The book itself is beautiful inside and out, with the author's detailed and skillful drawings illustrating the cover and the first page of each chapter. I bought two more copies of Book One to give to friends, and I'm looking forward to the subsequent books in this series. I highly recommend this book to animal lovers, nature lovers, middle school and high school students, adults of all ages, and everyone who ever read and loved Watership Down.
